I think it could be a good exercise if some folks would post some of their unusual, uncommon, and/or not yet named, flake tool types. It’s artifacts like these that have me examining about every flake I come across when I’m hunting.

Here are are a few of my favorites of that type.

Love this idea. It’ll help me ID more when I’m out searching. Thanks for starting it.

Here is a larger example of a piece I found last summer.
On the first side this large flake is pretty much non-descript, but the other side reveals lots of workmanship and that is is a decent yet crude blade.

This is one of the nicest flake knives I have. Was made on a channel flake I do believe. Super thin, and super fine edgework on it as well.

One nondescript side one super nice side.

Here are a few of some worked flakes, my camera is not the best lol. number 1 has a very fine worked edge the other side is smooth. number 2 is wicked sharp with a very fine serrated edge. There i a large blade and a small blade, looks like a arrowhead but i don't think so. I am sure some of my flakes had a purpose but a lot are just flakes. The ones quito has shown look like they were used for some fine picking/cutting/scraping any way i will look at some more worth posting.

I like these kinds of threads. Heres a few pieces that I found, but never really knew exactly what their uses were, these are my guesses.

Hafted scraper/engraver

Engravers

Cant tell if this is a really wore drill, or hafted engraver? This one is certainly different from what I usually find. Fairly small too.

No idea what this was used for.

Captain red-beard thanks for contributing! Them are some good examples.

I think that last one you posted had likely become a drill. Is the other end knocked around like a typical thumb scraper bit too?

I think the other halfted one looks like it could simply be be an exhausted scraper. But it also looks like it may have a spoke shave worked into the bit on one side.
