More pics with shot of little oolite knife and one with impression of it. Also group shot of all. Broke knife tip has been made into a scraper on broke end.

Thanks arrow.Yes very typical. It is not a field, it's a camp. None of the places I look are plowed or farmed at all, they are the natural ground. Some places it's hard to look with all the chips, look at my other ground pics and you will see the burnt ground too. Not all camps are like this one though. Some are just sand or dirt with chips . It's a good camp when you can see the dark soil though as I'm sure you know.

Nice finds and sounds like an undisturbed region which would be fun to hunt.

That’s awesome I bet that place is rough on the knees probably a lot of picking up pieces. I have read about others having sites with the dark soil Iv never experienced it myself but always on the look out for it. The flaking and work on those obsidian points is unreal

Very nice finds.

Good photos too.

Wash out areas like that are not common in my area either. Too green around here. A few days of no activity grass starts and then the tree shoots are not far behind.

Have you found any hardstone?

Thanks dognose. It is pretty dry around here, average yearly rainfall is like 12 inches. You guys get that in a couple of good storms.Yes I do find hardstone, the usual mix of pestles, manos ,metates, occasionally a bowl. Easy to see that stuff it usually gets picked up pretty quick though!

What a treat to see! Thanks for showing-- I envy you. As with Dognose's ground, mine explodes in green the minute it's warm enough- and sometimes when it isn't! Thanks again and happy hunting ;)
