This is from several hunts over the last few months. Have found them all in small Creek beds in the hills.

I wish I was more knowledgeable about artifacts. Because I have numerous pieces that I don't know what they are but I know they were something.

Are the first three pictures of the same stone? The piece in the second and third pictures could be a Bannerstone preform. Can you show better pictures of all sides and the holes please? What are the long slender pieces in picture #6? Do they have blades on them like a Celt? I really don't see any artifacts here unless the ones I mentioned are what I said they might be.

No. Pic 2 and 3 are of the same piece. Pic 6 are not blades. They are round and taper to a blunt end. Two of them are a hard stone and one is antler.

Also the pieces in the case are an assortment of game balls.

Well there aren't enough pics to form an opinion on the game balls.

But of the rest of the things pictured, I see very few that appear to be artifacts or effigies.

I guess it all depends on what's your definition of an artifact is. I have a buddy that discredits a lot of pieces because they don't look like text book examples

Ummm, I don't define artifacts, but I can help identify if a rock may be one of them quite often.

You must not have looked at the thread I started about atypical flake tools. Then posted a few pics of them.

I have a thousand + artifacts..... hundreds of things that are far from text book, and only one artifact I don't what it was used for for sure, and yes, its most definitely an artifact.

Keep in mind I didn't say you didn't have any artifacts, I just don't see very many. Maybe you can flip some over that expose a little evidence of alteration or use?
