We had some good rain on Saturday night and throughout the day Sunday, so my wife and I hit our two favorite spots.
One site is early Archaic and the other is late Archaic to Woodland.

Found my first fluted Dalton

Also found a preform drill, which looks as if it someone had begun working the bit and then gave up.

Then rest are tools and typical points for the eras. Found over 100 broken ones as well. It was definitely a good day!

I'll try to remember to take one tomorrow. Headed down to coastal Florida to hunt some rocks tomorrow. A buddy of mine found a pot buried in a salt marsh that he claims is over 2 feet tall. Not sure if the tides will be low enough to get to it, but I sure want to see it! We can't remove it, but I'll take pictures if at all possible.
