Found these in the same area, beads appear to be glass. I've found plenty of shell buttons before but none with the holes like this one. Are these finds related or not? Thanks

Don't know about the beads but Ashtabula and an adena or maybe bottleneck?
I also walk NW Ohio a bit west of you but those are nice chert points for sure.

Are you hunting an old house site? The Glass Beads and Shell Button could be early settlers pieces. Great looking Points though.

GR , I was on the hunt for a rumoured colonial ferry crossing but never found any in this spot. Started finding flint chips so I give it a look. I probably know less than anyone on here about indian artifacts but I find quite a few while detecting fields.
Seeker, I'm in Wyandot co. I don't hunt arrowheads much at all but it seems when I'm trapping, hunting, fishing, I'm tripping over the stuff , lol

May just have been a site that was occupied for a long time. The first site I looked way back when had everything from Paleo artifacts all the way up to fragments of ash-glazed pottery. Those are some great looking finds.

Lets see them points you are finding all in a group never know you might have a rare one in the group. On the beads I have seen some blue ones at the artifact shows but I dont know much about them.

The "shell buttons" are more likely to be jewelry. I've found similar, and surmised that it would be difficult to have a useful button with holes at one end, since fabric would tend to slide off. Great finds, and good luck. I'd keep hunting that site for sure!
