Well if I could of only found 1 I guess it would be this one. And yes I only found 1. I was out today and saw a friend looking to there was a downed tree that we had to go around and Im glad he went 1st cause rite in his footprint was this one and only. He wasnt finding anything either so I didnt tell him it was in a shoe print even though I wanted to, ha
Its got a very short stem not broken I believe it to be a Morrow Mountain varriant N GA personal find, rock

Nice!

Interesting base.

1st pic I took yesterday came out blurry so here are some better pics of the base. Could be a MM or some other type of a Woodland point.

Thats a good one , I would have definitely let him know he had stepped on it though and rubbed it in a little bit anyways just for fun of course.

Is that base snapped off? You're thinking Morrow Mountain or does MM stand for something else?

No its all there if not a Morrow Mountain (MM) then it is a Adena Vanishing Stem.

It was the 1st time I had seen him in a while and dont know his personality real well so I didnt want to hurt his feelings but I was tempted to say it.

Very pretty......if you ever go hunting with me, don’t look in my footprints. Lol.

When you step in soft soil your weight will spread the mud or sand and your weight will usually go to hard pan and there it was laying. I had picked up so many leaves already I almost didnt pick it up but glad I did. Have you ever noticed many of the points in your area look very close to the leaves from the trees? Color and shape

It's a beauty and so thin, love the material!

Thanks it was a nice relief to find one after looking for so long and not even finding a flake. I thought the skunk was coming :)
