I checked out a new spot yesterday it was a quick hunt but found a few nice things.
This was the first thing I found which was quite surprising since it’s a small creek and 100s of miles from any oceans or saltwater makes you wonder how different the waterways were thousands of years ago.
Nice little shark tooth

The next piece was a heartbreaker the bottom was sticking out of a small rock bar I could tell it was definitely worked jasper and a huge base but unfortunately it’s snapped would have been a nice piece.

Also found a huge quartz knife it has some nice flaking on it but impossible to get it too show in the pics View attachment 1578452 View attachment 1578453 View attachment 1578454 View attachment 1578455
Almost passed over this nice flint point there was broken glass everywhere and I figured it was just another piece of glass but I’m glad I picked it up.

Looks like you have another good spot, those are nice finds , is the piece on the bottom right corner a graver or a small drill?

Awesome finds, arrow. That sharks tooth is awesome. Millions of years old. Congrats on another successful weekend hunt.

Nice finds. I can speak to the tooth. Nice little Mako. If you go back to that creek with a small shovel and a sifting screen with 1/4 inch mesh, find a gravel bar, and starting sifting, washing the gravel as you shake it in the water, you will find more teeth. Very likely more points, too. Do you know of the Calvert Cliffs area in your state? Surely.

Yea every summer we stay at the cabins down at Calvert Cliffs and have found some nice bigger teeth.
