Finally found a complete point that got my heart pumping! Got out for a few hours on Friday and found this bad boy in a small strip of rocks alongside a steep bank. I passed up two rock bars to get to this spot because I just had a feeling that something would be there! Gotta trust your gut I guess..

Beauty! Love the creek stain! That creek must be loaded with that much point trapping gravel.

Very nice!

Dont see many with that type of tip.

Yea, what is the deal with the tip?? Was it broke and reworked like that or was it made that way? Would it even be an effective projectile with a tip like that or was it probably a knife?

Good eye on spotting that one.

It might be a Neuberger, which like some of the other early archaic points can have that rounded knife tip.

Good eye to spot that one. Next time take a small bucket with you and start downstream and throw some water on them rock bars then go to your furtherest section and turn around and have a look. I hide me a bucket in the brush so I dont have to carry the thing all day long. It will be much easier to see them. Thats a beast and it would of gotten my blood pumping to. You find some nice points and blades in that creek, rock

Thanks! This actually isn’t my best creek. I spend about 90% of my time in my “best” creek but I bet I’d find more in the other 4 that I have access to if I spent more time in them... is it my best creek because I spend the most time there? A question to ponder! ;)
