Was hoping I could get some help with the ID of this point. A rarely find them so not really sure of the material and the period.

Also, found this unusual tube made out of silver wire, never seen anything similar (seems to be hand made). Found at the same site.

Thanks for the comments.

That is a great artifact you found. Super material too!!

I suspect the woven wire piece is not neat as old as that stone piece. Likely modern.

I see you are from eastern Canada so I guess these are from there. The metal piece looks modern to me. Not sure what it is though. The other piece is most likely a Blade or Knife form of some type. Nice looking artifact. We have someone from Canada on here so hopefully they will chime in.

Thanks.

Yes of course it's not as old. What I meant was that I have found it at a site used by Natives for a long period of time. Was wondering if it was from a late Fur Trade period.

Cigarette, cigarillo, holder, or part of one? Part of a fancy pipe stem? Cool find!

The site predates the cigarettes (no later then the last part of 18th) but the pipe stem decoration is very possible.

Ramah Bay chert from far N.E. Canada on the coast. Gary

Thanks ToddsPoint. I'm closer to Montreal. I've never heard of them traveling this far into the continent. But it does look very similar.
