It looks like a pecking stone....or hammerstone but my small screen doesn't show close detail of wear or peck marks.Post in NA forum lots of good knowledge there.

granite readily takes that shape, I can find those all day long on the beach. I would say 100% natural.

Yo, Fred

Ran into this on the internut & tried sending it to you as a reply to your PM. Then as a new PM. When that didn't work either, used the search feature to (try to) find your post. When THAT didn't work, searched every post you've made until I found it. Lotta hassle for a not-that-big-a-deal.

Thanks for the PM of the video. Tried to reply but no go. Deleted some PMs, thinking that might be the problem, but not so. Looks like I can receive them but not reply.

Wish the pic was clearer on that piece, almost a looks like carving on it. I try and forget a lot of those posts I made.

Sure, in some places you can, no doubt.

In many other similar places you won’t find a one.

in over 45 years of pouring concrete and having had thousands of loads of gravel hauled into various job sites, and grading millions of square feet with it I can assure you we don’t have them here naturally. So, that being said, The other day find this at the bottoms edge of a pile like it rolled right out.

It’s the same
material often found used in other hardstone artifact forms around here.
Im thinking mine isn’t natural, and there a chance that Fred’s just may not be natural as well.
the two in the first pics are disc shaped and highly polished. The other a grooved maul.
