Hello all. I found this at the local flea market today along side a pile of other points and fragments from an "old collector of it all". This one I could not identify the type 20181006_142312.jpg ... any help is much appriciated.

My personal opinion is that it looks modern ? A flea market is a great place for forgers to pass off their items. Hope I am wrong and someone with knowledge comes along and says it is authentic.

Hard to tell from 1 pic. It looks nice & fakers usually fake the big expensive points. Someone should be able to tell for sure.

The zoomed in picture shows really good obsidian patina (it looks like that really thin skin that comes off when you cut an onion.) That can likely be faked, but isn’t often faked on more common points.

I think it’s an authentic little point.
