Thanks for humoring me and my rock pictures, I was wondering if this could be a potsherd or if it’s just a rock. Kind’ve far fetched, but thanks regardless. 4A7CD6E8-7694-47DA-AB83-47BE3B5C4F89.jpeg 057AF48E-46FD-48E0-83F0-A4002E43A426.jpeg FF23C15E-C777-46C7-B877-F5B531C2A39F.jpeg BF910A6F-314A-4CB1-BEEE-BBE09B9F4B0E.jpeg 158306BA-62D9-4164-BFE6-912BCFC35FE6.jpeg

Looks like pottery to me. Wherever you found it, there’s likely points and tools nearby. Good luck.

Thank y’all for the response. To think unglazed ceramic can survive so long is baffling. Thanks again for identifying it for me.

Looks like it to me. If you find more, it's a good sign it's a village site, so should be more artifacts around.

Definitely looks like it to me. You can see the crushed temper material in it, maybe crushed quartz? Look around that spot for more of it, as well as stone artifacts. Good eye.
