Did you post those way back when on another board? I think I remember when those deep notches popped up, the Oklahoma folk were jealous (in a nice way.)

Great finds!

Contentment is a nice place to be.

Edit- I guess it could have been here. 2009 counts as way back when in forums.

Very nice collection. One of my best points came out of Caney Creek north of Copan. Found it in the bottom of the creek taking the last elevation shot on a survey for rail road relocation. They sure do shine. Good luck.

Yes Joshua it would have been on this forum. I love the broken one as much as the whole one. Kinda. Almost. lol! I totally get how lucky I was for finding them, and looking at them makes me grin like an idiot. Still!

uglymailman, our part of the country is really nice, huh?

Naturegirl, OK. was ok......except you couldn't buy cold 5% beer. Luckily, I was there in winter so we bought hot beer, tarp strapped it to the bumper of the truck, drove 3 miles, turned around and went back. When we got to the motel we had cold beer. Good luck.

naturegirl, have you ever looked on the Arkansas River? I have seen some amazing artifacts that were pulled from that river.
