Badandy...congratulations on some fantastic finds. You have mastered the art of water hunting, can you give some tips to us who have never tried it? Do you wade, float or just eyeball from shore? I would love to try this.

Rege, I wade through the water and just look at the rocks, and love every min. of it.

Johnny, we'll go when the times right my friend.

Here are some nice finds from dif. waterways here in IL. that I have made in the last couple months. Thanks for looking and HH!

Wow they all seem to be made of same material, What,s the chances of that.Looks like a creek cache. We don,t even have any shallow water creeks in southern O hio .They are all dried up. They have declared my area as a national diaster area. Worse drought in over 130 years. Those are super finds. The Indians must have lived in Illinois creeks. Jeff

Nice finds there Andy!

I water hunted for over 15 years in Mid-Missouri, my handle was creekwalker32810. I loved water hunting, you will find a lot more whole fine points in the creeks and fields this way.

Any time we had a heavy downpour, I would head to the creeks the next day and start looking for the points, one day after a 6" gully washer I found 40 whole points in the creek, that was and still is my record.

Nice stuff there, you sure do have a better chance of finding the larger unbroken stuff in the creeks like that vs. the fields with all the years of plowing...

Beautiful arrowheads. I still havent managed to find one. Since I moved to Wyoming I havent been out looking, too many rattlesnakes around here.
