Beats me. Each end where it looks notched, it seems that a hole was once drilled there.

With each end being notched it makes me think of a Tie On AtlAtl Weight. Not sure why it would be drilled unless it repurposed as a Pendant. Cool piece for sure.

Sand as a medium and a stick or native bamboo to drill. Amazing the things they did.
