I’ve posted this Angostura point before but here it is again.

First image is a scan of two 1976 photos (I was taking in situ pics long before it became an internet fad).
The second image is a more recent in-hand pic.

CrowField 11,000 - 10,000 B.P. flint upstate NEW YORK this was a gift to me when I was a kid . It fell off the wall and broke a little piece off the right ear which I had restored by DR GOMER . Its real thin and only fluted on one side . Found a photo of reverse side .

Do you think those flutes/thinning flakes were on purpose or the result of chipping the shape out? I've never seen anything quite like it. If you have seen others similar that should tell you something. Thanks for sharing.

Both sides are the same depth I have a few partial Bifaces with short flutes / thinning flakes ? from the same site made from silicified Sandstone ? that the old timers liked .

Here is a very nice Obsidian Haskett/Cougar Mountain base that was reused and made into a nice Chisel tipped point.

Here are a couple of pieces that were in frames that I bought over the years.

A Frederick, a Folsom base, and an Allen point. Colorado, Colorado and Kansas if I remember correctly.
