Good Creek! How far do you walk when Creek Walking? I’ve ventured along many small brooks and creeks here in MA with “0” NA finds. Ours just don’t seem to be very generous. They also do not seem to relocate at all. The exception is the larger river banks and Atlantic estuaries. Just my experience though.

Thanks! I am a slow walker typically go about 1 mile in distance before i turn around (still nursing achilles injury) over a time span of 4-6 hours.. I stick to year round creeks. Its not easy looking but is rewarding.

What are your thoughts on the wide based point? I find very similar points in the same area and never definitively typed them.

That's a good question. Etleys have that type of base but to me this it doesnt look like an etley at all.. the size, length, and ears are all off.. I really dont know what it is but i have found a few very similar in size and shape in that creek.
