Possibly the lower portion of a triangular point with the top broken off. Looks like obsidian. You must be out west in the U.S.

Could be a broken, worked piece. They didn't always make a perfect point and would discard the rejects.

Itís definitely obsidian. I suppose I should have clarified. I know itís a point, I just havenít found one itís this wide of a base. I was wondering if it was a certain type based off the photos.

Hmmmm. Hard to tell. It is finely worked on both sides, makes me think it wouldnít have been too long of a point. itís so hard to tell

Little triangle point ..... more common than youíd think
I would rather see an authentic broken scraper posted than a G-10 Artifake!

Could be a triangle type point back or maybe the center portion of a long eared elko, where it would have been hafted and broke off the main point.

I also think it's the broken base to a point.
