I have seen rocks that look like everything you can imagine. I once thought I found an effigy of a rare 66 corvette. I danced for joy. I showed it to every one I could find before having it professionally examined. That's when I got the bad news.... It wasn't a priceless vette effigy..... It was only an AMC Pacer effigy. Worthless. I let my excitement get the best of me.

I don't know if it's a 66 but I found this Corvette effigy in the creek not to long ago. Lol!

A few out of my collection of geological curiosities. All natural, folks. Only the first one was found in context with artefacts, suggesting that it might have been curated for the same reason that I carried it home... but it's definitely NOT in any way man-made or modified to be an effigy.

Here's my Mammoth rock. I find Boytroidal Chaldecony in this material in the vugs and cracks the other day I saw this piece and washed it off and saw the nice green gem like material and took it with me it weighs about 30 pounds. In my car I put it up on my dash and started laughing because I see a Mammoth.

I had a hard time believing this was not an artifact when I started collecting. Bought it from a guy who also sold me a butt load of fake points made at a souvenir factory in India. Thanks for the education, Mr.! Now I find my artifacts in dirt, not garage sales. By the way, my "Bird or Duck Effigy" is streaked with fool's gold, so it's pretty cool even if it is a concretion. That could be a legit phallic effigy. I saw one recently with so much detail that I'm not sure it would be appropriate to even post pics of it

Tell me that's NOT your thumb in the picture on the left.
