Hardee and Thonotosassa found at the same time

2 1/4 by 1 5/8 Hardee and a 3 by 1 3/8 Thonotosassa found by me in Hillsborough County Florida. Both were found approximately at the same time. While I was digging I had a avalanche of sugar sand fall on me while scraping the walls; while I was removing pounds of dirt off my lap. Avalanches happened to me frequently but it's pretty cool when they literally fall in your lap.

Gorgeous material on both. Great photos as well. I see you chose daylight for one and special indoor lighting for the other.
The beveling on that classic Hardee is easy to see.
The Thonotosassa (great NA name!) I assume is made of a petrified wood?

I'm guessing chert on both, the hardee is more burgundy color in person. I didn't find many that color while I was there.

    What is sugar sand?
Sugar sand - thick sandy soil, really compact.

The Thonotosassa is typical chert for the area. I'm not sure what it's actually called.

The sixth pic from top to bottom is the same point as the other seven on the hardee?
