too many rocks in the house from the past couple months.

not the best picture quality, sorry.

this would be about 1/10th or less recent finds.

it's nuts what happens when they just disc high yield fields that have been no-till for years.

That Cumberland missing the ears is almost banner worthy. Congrats! I'd love to see some more pictures.

The Cumberland is dynamite ! Basal breaks (intentional) are MOST interesting and, I suspect, significant.

    busy..

Not sure why but Ive always liked Cumberlands, your last couple months is what happens when I dream about points. I spent 5 hours sifting rock and came up with one half finished point. That makes 2.5 this year

joshua, i will get some better pics of the cumberland. the fluted side was down when i found it, bout lost it on the flip.

the tallied and incised piece of broken slate, and a beat-up and un-pictured greenstone adze/ axe came the same day.

the site is incredible covering a huge area. seems like everyone was there, hanging out. from the early settlers that you can see in that tiny pistol ball if you can find it in the pictures.. or the totally unbroken pipe (also blew my mind).....

then it keeps going back. every definable period by arch-ee's . i have a bunch of brokes and wholes that are really interesting come out over the past years. it has all the definable classes of period, then there are these in between ers. a lot of fishtail type and square base lancolate.

the different materials there tho....is something i hope to start defining better. it's unlike anything i've ever seen. some is quarried local or within a reasonable distance. some .. it's a jewel, or exotic.

That is fantastic. The Cumberland is obviously special but I see more great stuff in those pics. Thank you!
