I do not know much about this stuff but you may want to have that looked at. I have not seen anything like that online or on this site.

Brenda - welcome to the site and thanks for posting this. I am also in Missouri. I have no idea what that is but would love to see more pictures, any information on where (not specifically location) and how it was found. Definitely an interesting and unique piece.

we can't judge such a find over the internet... too much chance for fraud and pix cannot resolve that. this item should be looked at in person by those with knowledge and background. very cool stone and we all want to know more about it.

Thank you all for your replies. I will pass the info along to my brother and see if he can find someone with some expertise with this type of stone. I will update when he finds out more!
