Fat,
ā€˜Fruited Plainsā€™, Is that a tribute to the ā€˜Great Oneā€™?
Cool point -Bi-faced knife form? Looks like petrified wood? Beautiful! I like that one.
Love the photo series too.

Yes.
Quarry blank, knife/scraper tool. Iā€™ve mainly found DHMcK and pelican lakes at this spot. Lots of plow scars.
Pet. Wood yes.
Thank you. That pic is looking N. Iā€™m on the top of a ridge and itā€™s terraced to the N but itā€™s hard to tell elevation, 3-500 foot change to the bottoms.

Like most of the ā€œcampsā€ I hunt now I found back when I would go x-country riding Yamaha 500xt. Spot fire rock stop. Looksee whatā€™s there. The ridges to the North over look the Nplatte valley. To the South is Splatte valley. 40-50 miles between water ways.

Edit I found several scrapers and some cores worked down to nothing, I make few more pics today. Prolly go back to that same spot today.

That's a big field, looks like a tough piece of wood to knap.
Abbreviations ...if you are not from Plains region how are folks supposed to know what "DHMcK" means? (Duncan-Hanna-McKean)
I'm guessing you probably explained it in a past post that I missed. :):icon_sunny:

Yes Duncan-Hanna-McKean. Iā€™m not sure if explained or not, please jump in anytime you think I need it.
I have upmost respect for your knowledge and expertise. I have seen some of your frames. Post some pics and WOW the crowd.

In a week you wonā€™t be able to see the ground. Winter crop is off to great start. Itā€™s easier to just drive straight across instead of turning around all the time....

Thanks Fat. You guys must have adequate moisture out that way. I have been told some areas in western Nebraska and Kansas are quite dry meaning with no growth some fields will be windblown. Bad for the farmer but makes for good artifact hunting.
