I was metal detecting at an old plantation site, in eastern NC (Wilson County, NC) at a site that a lot of Indian artifacts have been found, I have found clay pottery, Guilford points and so on. But i pick up out of the field and i have kept it. I have small collection. I have always wondered if it could be something, or has it just been worked a little, I know plows have hit it some also. I am guessing it is flint. Can some of my Indian Artifact guys and girls tell me a little about this piece. Thanks for you help. Flint 1.jpg flint 2.jpg flint 3.jpg

Like i said, all this is was found in Wilson County, NC there was a Indian Town here called Toisnot , (Protohistoric Tuscarora Communiy of Tosneoc) so while i metal detect i pick up stuff off the ground. I dont know much about points or the pottery. but this is some stuff that i have found. Arrowhead 1.jpg arrowhead 2.jpg Arrowhead 3.jpg arrowhead 4.jpg arrowhead 5.jpg

Love the different pottery design applications...That black point, right row 3rd up is interesting, , could you do a closeup of those three at bottom.
