...sometimes when ya hold a piece in your hand, does it shares a little sumpin? Perhaps.

I found this piece last Sunday. Some people have looked at it and said, 'yep, man made' and their theories were vast from skinning large game meat, to shaving bark off a tree...and another, hoeing the rows for planting.

Anyway, here's the dimensions...and a pic or four:

5" H..exact. huh

7" W (Bottom portion), middle 5" and upper top 3"

*barely* 1/8" /depth/ridge

4" Depth (across the bottom base)

And, as always, give it to me straight; arti or geo fact? Thanks!

Hello there,

I think that one of those time will tell when you look
long enough at it that it 's just a rock. I think no expert
no wear and lacks for more diffenition. But who knows
it could functioned as a quick made tool used and left be-
hind. Anyway how is it going?

Bruce

Well, Vibes, if it were found around here, it would be a definate too, but I just dont know the types of stone around your area. A lot of the time too, it depends on the context in which you found the peice.
Keep on looking, your gonna do good soon!!

Looks natural to me too, shows no sign of workmanship, just mother nature.
Just my opinion.

Molly. :)

I would love to tell you it was an artifact, but in reality what you have there is a rock. Don't give up, keep your eyes on the ground and you will find something eventually.
