Kentucky/Ohio river trip

Thanks to my new friend luckyinKentucky he put me on some spots!
Since something came up he couldn't make it. The first point and ochre
pieces were found close together. Worked preform and little blade came from a
different spot. The flint chips were found on a third spot when I decided
to pick up the biggest chips and worked pieces in last 30 minutes before I had
to motor out. Lots of fun down in Kentucky!

Anytime you want ... come back down, and I'll put you on some more spots.

The first one is an Indiana Hornstone Hopewell point. I don't know about red pieces.

The oval shaped piece looks like a preform or possible scraper.

The 4th piece looks like a Hornstone blade base.

The flakes are from a manufacturing site with a mixture of Sonora, Indiana and Kentucky Hornstone. I didn't know if you would run on this one with the directions I gave you, but it looks like you found it. it almost looks like they were knocking chips off of a spall to make scrapers with. The piece on the bottom - right would have been the first piece knocked off of the nodule, and the others look like they followed in sequence. The last pic are broken pieces of Sonora.

Oops ... looks like you missed a few pieces of flint in the first pic.

Don't know about the red ones either. And the forth piece
is almost square with a sort of chisel end. Seems like they
gave up on it. Also found a small base to a point by the
little preform.
