may be coming to nc to detect and vacation end of june

hello all...im probably gonna be in nc the last week on june...my daughter and i have been whitewater rafting up there for the last 4 yrs and its been great! now im thinkin i might wanna do a little md while there...throw me a couple bones to check out local people...old schools or civil war camp areas anybody? It could be from fayetteville area, to the mountains like murphy....im sure i can come up with a few extra days to hunt somewhere....just need a little help...hunted out is ok....lol...ill take my chances!! thanks
