Considering I'm 6 ft 2 and a big guy I do not have issues being harassed. I also wear clothes that pretty much say stay away. Biker shirt and jean shorts.... I always get permission if near private property just to put people at ease. Lakes that have campgrounds around them are typically private property so permission should be received first.
