Anyone From Rockingham County?

Anyone here from Rockingham County? I am, and I'm looking for others who enjoy metal detecting as much as me and my friends. We're always looking for new sites, people and places to enjoy our hobby with. we've got a few cool places to go, but we're always glad to meet new people and try new places. Anybody have any ideas? We'll share with you if you share with us. C'mon It's more fun to share. Good way to learn new stuff and meet new people.

I travel to Reidsville, NC quite often. I have noticed several abandoned houses along Hwy 158 between Stokesdale and Reidsville. I don't know any of the owners, but I'm sure neighbors or County records could tell you who to check with for permission. Also a couple of months ago Gypsyheart had a great post about Avalon, NC - a 520 acre abandoned mill town near Mayodan.
