New guy here. Located right in the heart of Raleigh. I just got to Garrett ace 350 and picking up my pinpoint or tomorrow. Only put about six hours on the detector so far. Very excited to get out there and dig some holes. Found a few things nothing too interesting.

I've been hunting Dix campus a lot looking for some other tnet folks that I've seen post about hunting out there.

How has everyone's summer been? There are several NC folks posting in other forms but not here. Be nice to know how everyone's treasure hunting summer and fall has been?

Mine has been stellar in October. I've said this over and over and most of my posts but I'm fairly new starting just only a couple of months ago. I found six silver dimes and over a dozen wheat pennies along with two buffalo nickels, my oldest coin to date is a 1909 British penny

I've also found a Silver plated antique trumpet mouthpiece and even a few civil war relics such as a unions officers cuff buttons from New York as well as my first 3 ringer

Other notable finds includes a 14 karat gold plated Catholic medallion with with 14k gold inserts and Hungarian writing ... I don't have a date but it's pretty old

And I found a early 1900s sterling silver thimble
