It's been since last year that there has been any news posted on here about Oak Island. Are they digging? What's the hold up if they are not. Why no news??

Hi,
Long story short, they have't resumed digging yet - they were very, VERY close at one point, however the government in Nova Scotia changed hands, and the new group's progress in getting licenses and permits to dig was stymied so that the new government can review them, which means that they pretty much have to start all over again. That said, insiders (which I am not) are fairly optimistic that they should get their license sometime soon.
