Haven't seen the show yet. My question is what are the regs the gov has put on them as far as mining/drilling goes.
You can't honestly tell me they can't drill a 300ft hole and run a continuous pump in it to clear it of water. I'd assume a standard 5800 gpm pump would keep the water back.

They could do a real pump down test and calculate what it would take, just like hydrogeologists do every day on wells. No need to drain it at first anyway. A properly selected trash pump could easily remove all the muck and smaller stuff leaving a clear water hole bottom to image the remaining stuff with a cam. Could all probably be done in a day. If something interesting was seen at the bottom they could probably get it up remotely, all sorts of devices available depending on the target. Have they ever dropped a strong magnet down there?

!!!!!SPOILER ALERT!!!!

Season Finale = Total Letdown.
Now I know why the 2nd to last episode was one full hour of putting divers into a pipe.

That they used my Star Map to locate the Treasure Vault and final proof was obtained allowing me to write my New York Best Selling Book "The (Now Told) Story of the Oak Island Money Pit".

You wrote a New York [Times] best seller about this? What was it called? I was unable to find any book with the title above.

If and when the Treasure Vault is found empty|

Will this be sufficient evidence that it was absconded with by the American Freemasons or hopefully in the Treasure Vault George Washington will have graffitied "I was Here"!

I'm still unable to find this New York Times bestseller, including on the New York Time's best seller list. Do you have a link to this?

An empty vault would be a truly wonderful find, as it would suggest strongly that there was originally something there worth putting in a vault. (A full vault would obviously be better, but we should take what we can get, right?) As for who built or emptied the vault...well, we'd have to take a look at the vault first to establish that. Not every vault in the world was built by Freemasons, after all. More evidence would be required to figure out who did what.

Of course, we've spent several centuries digging holes out there and have found neither vault nor treasure, so it's a bit of a moot point currently. Now as before, I'd feel more comfortable discussing who removed the treasure once we have solid evidence that a treasure was ever there in the first place, which we do not currently have.

an empty vault that does not have proof of who built it, and
for what purpose

I've honestly not seen the show but read about it and if they don't find something it would be about as boring as listening to Todd Hoffman

You have not found this "Best Seller" as it has not "Yet" been published.

This Thread is on "What do you HOPE to see"

This is my HOPE if and when all is revealed.

My mistake. Carry on.

In my defense, a lot of these threads are starting to bleed together.

Wish there was someway to merge some of them together to simplify it.

threads can be merged together,
But then you eventually have 3000 posts going all different direction for newbies to read.
like the Yamasheata thread.
and add that members who started their thread 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. complaining they are being demoted & hidden :unhappysmiley:

One episode left. What did I hope to see?

The end. The last episode. Finished. Produce results or close it up. That may not be profitable for the production company or Lagina's, but it would be the only humane thing to do for the viewers.
