I know what BS is, what I don't know is what you are calling BS, or what point you are trying to make? Certainly at Domme the Templar prisoners did create religious grafitti. And, btw, most of it was carved in very soft sandstone over a period of some 10 years.

Cheers, loki

The Oak Island show reminds me of the movie "Ground Hog Day". Same thing over and over again to make it an hour show.
Question you have to ask at some point is the value in the show or the treasure.
I think the treasure is in the show.I have yet to see an item found as good as anything up on the banner bar.

Maybe you could read about it, there is quite a bit of information on-line, and the sandstone is quite real.

And I do know what the title of the thread is. Somebody is tired of reading about the Templars and ask if he is the only one that is, but does that make it illegal to respond in kind? Personally I am not tired of reading about the Templars and actually I consider myself a Templar historian.

Cheers, Loki

It would have been almost impossible for anyone on the run to hide in Europe.

Except in Scotland or Portugal, or Iceland if you consider that to be part of Europe.

Or you could go south. Or you could go east. You could go to any number of known destinations where neither the Pope nor the king of France had any sway, but Iceland was far enough. If somehow it wasn't, you could keep on going to Greenland. If you were somehow touched in the head, I suppose that you could go past there...but why?

I'm not saying that the Templars didn't go to Nova Scotia, but for the life of me I can't figure out why they would have. (And yes, folks here have explained why they did. And no, it still doesn't make sense to me.)

Now we go to the Holy Grail. I know where the Holy Grail is located and it is not at Oak Island. As a matter of fact there are two Holy Grails.

Are you referring to the Holy Grail that was invented as a literary device a millennia after Jesus died, or to a more recent invention?

They were not hiding in Scotland as they were not prosecuted there at all. One trial at Holyrood and that was by the English who were in control of that area. I have always premised that some escaping Templars spent the winter of 1307-08 in the Connel area of Scotland at Ardchattan.

In Portugal they were accepted into a similar order created for them, but some names never showed up and no vessels were recorded.

Using Iceland or Greenland as examples helps my own premise!

Cheers, Loki
