Downtown Dayton

Hey, hows it goin everyone? I had a question about a park here in the great city of Dayton (I hope you can recognize my sarcasm). This park is downtown right next to the library. I dont know the specifics of the park at the moment as this just popped into my head. I know that there were soldiers that camped here on their way to a battle during the 1800s. What I was wondering was if anyone knew if it was ok to detect here. If it were I would think this would be a great place. Just wondering.

Dayton says no metal detecting in their parks. Although they rarely ever inforce this rule, I think they would at Cooper Park. Come to a Dayton Diggers meeting sometime for more Dayton area info, tips and tricks.
