    Lookin For Huntin Buddies

Looking for someone to go out and hunt land or water and have a good time doing it. I am also interested in looking for Indian points (no clue where to start this one). I don't mind driving because I am partially disabled, so I have plenty of time. I live just on the north side of Edmond. Look forward to meeting some of you!

    Re: Lookin For Huntin Buddies

    Phil,

I'd be glad to meet up with you sometime. Only thing is, right now my hunting is limited to early mornings for an hour or two due to the heat. Monday, I was at one of my favorite spots; the ground was so hard, it was like chipping through ice when I tried to recover a target. Land hunting is just not enjoyable right now in most places that I hunt. As soon as we can catch a break from this heat and get a little rain, I'll contact you and we'll meet up somewhere.

    Mike,

I'll be lookin forward to it. I just noted in your list of detectors that you have a tiger shark... Well I just acquired on the other day before yesterday. Took it for a test drive yesterday and not sure if I had it ground balanced correctly. Would you be interested in meeting and showing me how to do this properly?

    Thanks!

    Hey lokkempa,

I live in Midwest City, and I hunt Edmond alot. I go to the tot lots in Hafer park, and have done well. Also my sister in- law lives at Covell and Coltrane. I hunted the school just north of her, and did well. The school is new, but I have found some good items. If you would like to go out sometime, I will PM you the next time I get up to Edmond. Look forward to hunting with you.

IF I can get this back problem sorted out, I will love to get together again. My wife had to come and help me up after I hit the park....I never did get around to the section where the carnival rides were set up. I did get a decent iPod out of my hunt, but need to get a new docking cable for it.

    Re: Lookin For Huntin Buddies

Good afternoon. I hope this email finds you all well! My name is Jason, and I live here in Edmond. I went down to the White dealer on the southside Friday to try to rent a machine, but the one i'm needing, they dont rent. I'm needing a machine that will detect a bit deeper. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to rent me their machine? Like at least an MXT300 or preferably a whites spectra V3. These are the ones he recommended for what i need to detect for. I dont know how to use any of them so a 15 min basics crash course would be necessary!

I would be willing to pay a daily rental fee. I'll probably need it 2 days. Past that, i might be more over my head than anticipated and will probably just break down and buy one eventually myself. But i cant see buying one, at least right now, as this specific item is the only thing i'm needing it for.

I have a discovery metal detector tf 900 that i could leave as collateral as well, plus several other items around the house that would add up to the value of your detector. I was going to say i could leave my driver license, but I might need that!

I would care for and treat it as well as my newborn baby, as I'm very meticulous and careful, and prefer to return things in better condition than when I borrowed them!

Anyway, if anyone interested, please shoot me an email at jsmith4750449@cox.net. thank you!
