Interesting. I don't recall that, at least to the extent described in the article. Written a little sensationally maybe, by a reporter who probably wasn't on the scene, for people who had never been there. But it would sell newspapers back east though. Hell, I would have bought a copy mistakenly believing it was describing an old time family reunion of mine.

for whatever reason, allot of timesWhen I find an Interesting article, it is in
a different states paper & not in the particular states news
:icon_scratch:
makes me wonder at times If the Reporters were sitting at a desk,
on slow news days
making things up. figuring CNN & FOX Wont be invented for another 80
or more years, So who would Know
:dontknow: :laughing7:
anyway in this case it appears to at least be in Oklahoma's news also.

Thanks for that link. I need to look that up, as I don't think there's been a whole lot written up about it by Oklahoma historians. Course, there was a whole lot goin on in early day Oklahoma, and it will take a while to get to all of it.

for some reason draft Resistance & the Governments responses to it don't seem to be things
the states historians are proud of :tongue3:
There for awhile it seemed to me they wanted to try and make people
believe the 60's, Drugs & Hippies invented draft resistance.

Of course What kind of music were the listening to Back Then ?
maybe Harmonica music caused it.
