Hey Timberwolf....
We were just wondering if you might have something for our part of Oklahome.
We are down here in South-Eastern Oklahoma. If you do we would appreciate it
if you would send it our way.
Merry Christmas.................

Okie,
I don't believe I have any maps of your area, but I may have some treasure leads...let me know what county you want, and I'll see what I have

Le Flore county perhaps? Any TH' ers near poteau, Heavener area and want to get together for a hunt send a message. I usually go solo but wouldn't mind patnerin up for a hunt or two. P.S. I don't know of any private spots i just go to the most obvious; parks, playgrounds, my yard(which i'm convinced is hunted out now) maybe we could get together and find a new spot!

Re: Cherokee Outlet Ranches 1883 Map
TW, anything interesting on Cimarron County? Wife and I will be going for a trip for first time to OK. Boise City is where we will be heading and I plan to do a LOT of MD'ing, exploring and artifact searching. Google maps look interesting but any maps or info would be greatly appreciated!
Since I have my new auto GPS I can now find places, find home and find that place again. Great.
BTW: Canon has a new digital camera that also attaches the GPS locations where the pic was taken. That sounds like a great idea too. Happy Hunting.....

There are a couple of good hunters in your area.
Look up Blackfoot and Fossis, they both hang out here on TNet.

Re: Cherokee Outlet Ranches 1883 Map
Do you know of any good tales or old maps of Logan County?
Dreams can come true, you just have to want them bad enough, research them long enough, and dig for them deep enough...

Re: Cherokee Outlet Ranches 1883 Map
I don't have any old maps of Logan county, that I am aware of. Most of my research is Kay, Grant and Osage counties.
But you might want to do some research on the town of Ingalls OK. It had quite a history of outlaws.

Re: Cherokee Outlet Ranches 1883 Map
I went to Ingalls a couple of years ago. There were still some people living there. There is a nice statue or plaque that I think had the story of the shootout. I think there was also a map on it of the town. Pretty cool. Would love to metal detect over there. Didn't have the nerve to ask around though. Have fun!
