I saw this post, and as we are only 10 minutes from yewed, and my husband knows almost every farmer in the county, we thought we would run out there and take a look.

We ran into a farmer we knew, and after I helped him find his casings where they had been shooting with my md, he told us where the church was. As a matter of fact, they just finished clearing the land off. Hubby knows who owns the land. It would still be a good place to hunt, wouldn't it?

Also the farmer told me I could hunt an old homestead foundation in his field. Pretty productive 20 minutes!!

Very cool! Please take pics and remember the old churches had yards where they put the buggies and horses during the services....and old outhouses.....good luck and please let us know!
