These might be of interest to some of you Colorado treasure hunters.......These are old postcards from Creede, Colorado showing the Snow-shoe Lodge, Consolidated School, and Main Street in Creede. The view of Main Street shows Creede Trading Post, Hotel Cafe & Bar, Weaver Liquor Store, W.S. Lewis store(?). These might provide some good places to detect if you can get access to them.

That's what I was thinking, Jeff---probably all kinds of goodies lost at the base of that hill, from kids sliding down it in the winter. :icon_thumright: :icon_thumleft:

I live in Creede and have lived here since I was born I am currently going to high school and the school building in your picture is still the high school I go to and it looks exsactly the same and yes that hill is very fun. The Snow Shoe Lodge building is still there and my grandpa moved to Creede in 1957 because of Ford and Eithal Davis.
