Was doing some research on a tourist park that was located 1 exit past the National Gardens exit called Old Dixie Highway. The road was renamed back in the day to Marco Polo Park Road, but was changed when they went out of business. I heard that the sky ride shown in this first picture was purchased by the City of Daytona Beach and is now the one on the Main Street Pier.

More and more research culminated in finding an aerial photo of the area where the park was. It was located on the same property that is now the Plantation Bay community and golf course. I did an overlay of the aerial photo and the current satellite view. You can see that half the park is under the golf course and the other half under a lake.

As you can see, not likely to have any place of value for metal detecting.
