Anyone have any info on early fairgrounds in Dodge City?

I've seen a photo I believe from 1918 of a circus in dodge crossing the tracks at 2nd street heading east on Wyatt Earp(front street). I'm trying to find out where they were headed.

I like this site but sorry, no help on the fairgrounds. But if I was to guess, I would bet they where heading towards the fairgrounds. Those always seem to stay at the same place over the years. I'll snoop some more for ya..

Great pictures Jeff. The second picture down of the old swimming pool brings back memories. I used to swim there a lot. It is long gone now.
