Man, I gotta tell ya, that is one realistic charcoal drawing!

I can tell that it's not a photo since you pointed it out, but really the vase and the area around little table are the only give aways.

The crown and 76 could be either one, but I'd bet British. Just a guess though.

Nice. A friend of mine has that same postcard with the angel. Her Grandfather brought it back after WWI. Was from France.

I have an old photo of a family friends uncle that you might like. He was with the 81st Inf. Black Cat brigade. Name was Albert Bennett.
