WHERE IS THIS????
Anyone know what type of building this is?? ?I dont want to biase you with what I think it is. It is suppose to be in NM

Kinda looks like the old airport in Albuquerque when it was first built.

I think it is an old photo of the United Verde Hospital in Jerome, Arizona. It was built to accommodate the miners from the United Verde mine, and was closed down in 1950. It remained vacant for 46 years, then underwent renovations and re-opened in 1996 as the Jerome Grand Hotel.

Actually it looks more like the dormitory building for the miners at the Union Verde Mine in Jerome Arizona. Here's a link to a page with a photo of the dormitory building which looks a lot like your photo. http://www.reel-one.com/jerome.html

Hey Dan
I've seen this a better pic of this building before. I hope i can find it again!! One might think it is a depot of some sort but all i can recall is it was not a depot at all. Can't recall if it was a sanitorium, reform institution..or what it was... if i find it again i will let you know.
