    heading down south

    heading down by wolf creek and any where farther south in june. Taking the whole week of june 8th off from work. mding, gold panning and just exploring ghost towns and such. never been down that way much, any ideas would be greatly appreceated.

    Check out the Too Many Leads thread, I posted some great sights down south to check out. Gypsy's Wolf Creek post is pretty good as well.
    That is some great country down there- wish there was work, I'd move there! Beautiful, rugged, scenic, rich in history. The whole Wolf creek, Coyote Creek, Graves creek, Rogue river area down there is simply awesome in so many ways.

    If you can find a copy, check out Larry McLane's "First there was Twogood". If you can't find one around where you're at, there may be some at the Wolf Creek store, or Mary's diner down in Sunny Valley, next exit south.
