    Rogue River Panning?

I would like to pan the Rogue. Anyone fill me in on where? I looked at the BLM site but not much info there. Any good spots. I promise I'll just take my share. Tnx. TTC

Terry, the Rogue is a might large river. I would probably start below Galice. But be aware there may be active claims in the area. I have heard of good pickings where Grave Creek joins the Rogue as well. There's also gold to be had in the Applegate and Illinois drainages, but again many claims.

    Terry,

Most of the claims, according to MRDS overlay of Google Earth are quite a ways up the river. With quite a few in the area that would be encompassed by Rep. DeFasio's proposed "Wild & Scenic" expansion bill HR3436. Which means those guys will be screwed out of their claims.
