there are quite a few places in central oregon lots of homesteads in between hampton and riley.
horse ridge and drycanyon were world war training camps as well as sunriver(camp abbott)-
go to the sunriver nature center and as about metal detecting they are looking for detectorists
and all that they want is a picture and the find is yours.
