On the south Umpqua downstream from Myrtle Creek is good. Nice pickers on the east side, just below the bridge where the old dump used to be. West side, get off at Boomer Hill road and come back under the freeway to the river. There's a bar there thats been hit a plenty by big dredges, but the banks can still produce for panners.

On the North Umpqua too, but no motors are allowed. I believe panning and sluicing isn't allowed above a certain point, too. Steelhead spawning grounds. But it drains the backside of Bohemia.

Iwent to cow creek last week and got about 3 penny waights out of 11 classified bucket of gravel theirs 47 miles of creek and every morning we heard or seen turkeys dont really know the regs for turkey hunting there
