Vibraprobe broken

Ive had my vibraprobe for over 3 years and just love it,last week the battery died and I changed it out as usual. I flipped it upside down and i came on as normal but it doesnt vibrate around metal now,Im not sure if I damaged the battery connection? I wouldnt think it would even come on if I had or is there somehing internal that is damaged? If anyone is knowlegable with these things Id sure like some replies,thanks alot ...Shoot

I know someone who has the exact same problem................It just does not make any sense. He was going to call the number on the probe and see about it but I have not talked to him sense, Tim
