I got my cuda a few years back, it is a custom job specific to gold. As a pulse detector, iot bites real deep, and finds coing and rinmgs at depths over 20 inches. MY best was a 14 kt ring, fought with it to get it out of over 25 inches of hard packed sand in five feet of water.
The tones for gold are very sharp and clear, anything else is slurred and washed out. waterproof to 220 feet, it so far has beat out all my other detectors including s tesoro, a fisher and others.
The 8 inch coil send 500 pulses a second out, and any other machione working near me gets blanked out within 25 feet or so.
