Cobra Beach Magnet

Kelly Co is offering a Cobra Beach Magnet as a demo for $179.95 with full warranty. I'm looking for a 2nd detector that I can use in the water. Is it worth th money?
Going to OBX on Thursday and can get this unit by Wed. I don't want my axiuosness to get something this week to cause me to make a bad decision.

Rick, If this is to be used infrequently (less than once a month) I think you should jump at the chance...and let me borrow it occasionally!
